Specialized Polish insurance broker IRCA becomes
part of RENOMIA GROUP

17. December 2025

RENOMIA a. s., a leader in insurance services and risk management in Czechia and Central Europe, acquires a majority stake in the Polish company International Risk & Corporate Advisory (IRCA). IRCA thus becomes a member of the RENOMIA GROUP, which now has approximately 120 employees in four offices in Poland.

IRCA is an insurance brokerage firm based in Warsaw that was founded twenty years ago by Jerzy Lisiecki. The company specialises in various types of insurance, primarily directors and officers liability insurance (D&O), cyber insurance and group life insurance. Following the current transaction, IRCA will continue to operate on the market under its own brand and with its existing management team, led by Urszula Stańczak, remaining in place.

This partnership is another acquisition by RENOMIA GROUP on the Polish market, following the addition of MODUS to the group approximately one year ago. In 2022, RENOMIA acquired a stake in the Toruń-based brokerage company Alfa Brokers, and the same year saw the opening of an office in Warsaw by the Polish subsidiary RENOMIA sp. z o.o. Together with its colleagues from IRCA, the RENOMIA GROUP now employs around 120 insurance and risk management experts in Poland.

“We consider the Polish market to be one of our most important, and we are delighted that we are growing there both organically and through acquisitions. We greatly appreciate how our Polish colleagues work together to offer clients high-quality, international services. Our partnership with IRCA is based on our long-term strategy of joining forces with companies throughout the region that share RENOMIA's philosophy and values,” says Pavel Nepala, RENOMIA co-founder and managing partner.

For IRCA, the merger with RENOMIA GROUP represents a partnership with a major Central European player that manages over €1 billion in insurance premiums. This will provide clients with access to cutting-edge expertise, a global brokerage network, relationships with leading insurers and reinsurers, and technological tools.

RENOMIA's presence in Poland and other Central European markets forms part of a long-term, systematic strategy aimed at providing clients with the best possible service worldwide. The RENOMIA Group currently operates directly in Central Europe through subsidiaries in 13 countries. As well as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, these include Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania, Latvia and Austria. An important advantage for clients operating internationally is the shareholder connection with Gallagher, one of the three largest insurance brokers in the world. Thanks to this connection, RENOMIA can provide its services to clients on all continents.
